The Surrey Branch is affiliated to the Salmon & Trout Conservation UK and has the same aims and ethics. We have around 400 members all of whom are full members of the Salmon and Trout Conservation UK (S&TC). This is because to join a branch, you first have to join the S&TC; you can then join the branch of your choice. Naturally most of our members live in Surrey but, for various reasons, we have members living abroad or in other parts of the UK. There is no additional fee to join the Branch.

The Branch is run by a small committee which is elected annually at our AGM in November. The current members of the committee and their contact details are shown on the "Contact Us" page.

The Committee arranges an annual programme of events and talks. Currently we have a talk on a fishy topic on the third Thursday evening of January, February, March and October with our AGM in November. Throughout the year several fishing evenings are arranged and we also have a families tuition day. We man the S&TC marquee at the Edenbridge and Oxted Show each August Bank Holiday where we try to interest young and old in flyfishing. Our current programme can be found here.

We also run a Branch Fishery which members can join for an additional fee. Full details are shown on the "Fishery" tab above.

Our aim is to provide activities and talks to stimulate our members interests in fishing. Non Members are welcome at any of our meetings, but to come on a regular basis you need to join the S&TA.
